As a woman poker player, I am not oblivious to the fact that the majority of women poker players are soft players. That being said, something happened last week during a session that piqued my curiosity. I was sitting at a 1-2 NL table, max buyin of 200. I had a good run and was up to $621 in 3 hours. Most everyone else was sitting with about $100 behind. Two twenty-something's sat down and would not stop eyeing me and my stack (stack, not rack). They were pompous assess and the whole atmosphere of the table changed, so I decided it was time to go. As I was racking my chips, they called the floor over to move them to a 2-5 table. My question is this, upon seeing a woman with a large stack (again, stack, not rack), would you choose that table solely on that fact, thinking it would be an easy mark. Or maybe this was all a coincidence. I don't have any poker playing friends to bounce this of off. And BE HONEST...I got my big girl panties on.

If I saw a woman with a big stack, I'd probably move tables. But that's because I'm intimidated by women.
