Hey guys.. Here is my Christmas present to all of you donks with money worth stealing.

Anyway, here are some tips that will keep you from getting completely pwned by someone that breaks into your wireless network.

One of the things that I used to do on a regular basis is cracking into WEP secured wireless networks and monitoring all traffic(just for fun). Here is a somewhat old video that a friend of mine made about this very subject

As you can see from that video is actually rather easy for someone that knows what they are doing to monitor your traffic and gather your account information. If someone is able to gain access to your main email account it will open a big hole for which you could get fucked in(black cock obv). The truly scary part is that the attacker, after gaining access to your poker account, could simply connect to the site via your network and it would be very hard for the site to distinguish you from them

Anyway, here are some simple steps to prevent this:

1) Use WPA encryption on your wireless router. WEP can be cracked by someone that knows what they are doing in less than 5 minutes
2) Use strong passwords - 8-10 characters min - with a mix of letters and numbers is best
3) Enable mac address filtering on the router. This will prevent anyone with a mac address other than ones on the list to connect to your router.

This still wont completely protect you but it will make it very hard for anyone to break into your network and lay the black cock on your chin.

If you are doing steps 1 and 2, then 3 is rather irrelevant imo. If someone is looking to crack your WPA, they'll likely already be monitoring one or 2 of the MAC addresses you have allowed access to, and will just clone that, an extra step in the process that takes maybe 10 seconds and would likely be done by the cracker anyway to hide his own entry. I would stick with steps 1 and 2, and just change the password if and when you have to give someone access to your network.

Cracking wifi is fun. I've been able to come across some interesting stuff the few times I actually went out and "listened" to crazy internets zipping through our air. First time I tried it, I went to the library, cracked, and monitored a few people for like an hour. The very first guy I got was a kid who went to high school near me, honors student, future engineering student, Eagle fucking scout... and his soon-to-be girlfriend was sending naked pics to him all the fucking time.

It took him almost 2 years to finally change that password (his gmail), and another year to change his facebook.

Currently, I have backtrack 4 loaded on a USB stick for shenanigans always at the ready.

I agree 100%. Mac address filtering isn't really going to help either way.

I have done the very same thing many times. Now I mostly crack wifi for downloading torrents and such.
