I only go by the headline, which said no ILLEGAL drugs found in her system. That to me is a huge red flag that she had a shit ton of prescription drugs in her that she obtained from her doctor. Gotta remember that this is a media story and a family that wants her name to be 'clean' (if they can) when shes put in the ground. Notice nowhere did I say that alcohol withdrawal couldn't kill you, but unless the actual autopsy is released an not just a press release from the family, i'd say she took one too many vic's and paid the price.

I wondered about this myself too. It really is hard to be that addicted to alcohol and still functional. She really didn't need to function, just perform... so it seems quite possible she was that level of alcoholic.. Go look at her performances towards the end, she was on some form of downers and it wasn't a nod. I really have no idea either. My first thought was alcohol withdrawal was likely BS ....

Yeah, I don't know much about it or her, just my experiences with PR and how they always use keywords to make people assume something other than the truth. Again, unless they actually release the actual autopsy report (don't hold your breath), they will just say whatever they can without being lawfully dishonest to protect their daughter. It's like you see people in show business in their 40s dying from pneumonia, bullshit, they died of AIDS.

Don't think it's unreasonable for an alcoholic to function at that level. I also think performing at that level is way more work than you might think.

Also heard she was fucking up bad at her shows recently. Something about her getting booed off stage at her last performance. Seems like she wasn't holding it together at all.

Well if she was recently out of rehab then I would pretty much not think alcohol withdrawal. When I first heard alcohol withdrawal, I thought bullshit too.. but it seems more plausible as things have come out. Her last performances are horrible, you can see them on youtube. She is either drunk or on downers. (not painkillers imo) I think it is very much hard work to perform, but you have other people setting it up adn getting you there when you are at her level... She could be drunk 24/7 if she wanted. She could get by on her name and notoriety... she didn't need to be giving quality performances to book shows.

I like a good rock star (whatever you call her) thats a fuck up. I guess I like fuck ups, not sure. It is sad though she left us at such an age.
