What time of year does it start to cool off in Vegas? Also, what is the weather like in October? I have a trip scheduled for the last week of August, but I'm thinking of coming out for Halloween too.

October is a great time to go, very comfortable, although
the temps can fluctuate a lot from mid day to night time.

October seems to be the month when it really starts to cool off.
Start of the month temps are usually in the 80's, by the end of the month highs are in the 70's. Low's are in the 50's to 60's, so take a jacket/sweater.

October is my favorite month in Vegas, weather-wise. Especially early October. It's usually pool weather by day, and down to light jacket / hoodie weather by night. Wind is also not as big of an issue in the fall as it is in the spring and winter. By the end of October, it's starting to get colder, but it's still pleasant.

Yup, I've always said October is my favorite month here as well. May is a close 2nd.

Halloween is a blast out here, although it might be a bit cooler by then. The Fantasy Fetish Ball is something I would highly recommend looking into.

To answer your question, usually starts to cool down in October, sometimes late September. It's been unseasonably cool so far this year, so maybe we will have an extended summer.

I got one more for you Vegas. Do you know if Extreme Couture or any of the local mma gyms there have days where fans can come by? I'm trying to come up with non-casino things to do and that is on my list. So far I also have the shop from Pawn Stars and the Gun Store to shoot some automatic weapons on my touristy list.

Never looked into this, but I don't see why they wouldn't. I drive by Wanderlei's gym every day and it looks like it's open to the public.

Gold and Silver Pawn is a shithole for the most part. I was not impressed and would not do again.

I do know a place where you can get a killer chicken sandwich and fries, and if you're REALLY lucky, there's a hot bartender that works with the bald guy.
