Haley, you keep bringing this up so I figure it needs to be addressed before you blog about it or whatever. I mean, I did send you this info when you were a Pokernews employee, but now it seems you still want to hold this grudge and use this information. When you say it was done with suspect motives, you are completely wrong, and I tried explaining that to you privately. I did report some people to the IRS shortly after the leaked court document with shareholders names was released. I also sent a letter, which Haley did not see, and then later in the past months spoken to someone in the IRS to try to explain what is going on.
I got the idea from 2+2'er Russ Fox, who made a post about reporting the UB cheats to the IRS. The IRS does have a whistleblower award for people who turn in tax cheats. I did not know how to report someone to the IRS, and since nothing seemed to be getting done, I took a shot in the dark and asked the IRS to look into the UB people.
Haley thinks that b/c I used the whistleblower form, which could possibly result in me getting a reward for doing so, that I had suspect motives; or was trying to profit from this. This is totally not true. It is not my fault the IRS set up the system this way. I never really cared if there was a reward or not. It just seemed to me there was likely either money laundering, offshore tax shelters, or income being paid into trusts. I do not know anything about IRS laws, but since it was suggested and nobody else seemed to be interested in going after the UB cheaters, I took a shot in the dark and reported them. No suspect motives. I did not do it to get any type of reward, just a way to maybe make the cheaters pay.
Haley keeps bringing this up and hinting that she might tell the story, etc. Well that is the story. After sending Haley this info, while she was a Pokernews employee to her Pokernews email, she decided not to run a story. She thought I was trying to use her to gain a profit. I was pissed, made some dumb posts bashing Pokernews, etc. She took it personal and that is why she never liked me. I put all that aside awhile ago and sent her info since she was gaining ground after the Scott Tom blogs. I am interested in the truth. I do not have suspect motives, I took this on as a hobby when I was not employed. Even though I am working now, it is hard to just let this go. I have been threatened physically and legally. I do not have any suspect motives, I just want the real truth to come out.
I am sure I may have missed something and Haley will gladly point it out, but that is about most of it.
