UFC 143, I think this is going to be a good night of fights. Last event I predicted there would be quite a few fights going to decision and there were - 5 of the 10 fights to be exact went to decision. This event I predict will be just the opposite,I see very few going to decision. Very good matchups. Last event I had only made one wager (Bisping +325), tonight I will have at least 3 maybe 4 and a parlay.

good card not a great card but definitely a good card. i think tonight will be the the first time that diaz loses by ko/tko in the ufc. his whole slap style of punching will not do any good with condit's power and counters.

I laid a little on Henry Martinez +325, he is one of Eddie Bravo's 10th planet JJ instructors, 8-1 record against Riddle who has been sucking lately 5-3 with his last 2 fights being losses.

I really mainly only care about main event here. Not because the card is bad but because diaz condit has potential to be best 5 round fight in a very long time. Nice to finally see WW division get interesting.

vipbox.tv seems to have made it past the crackdown the other day but who knows how long the feeds will stay up tonight. zuffa has been tightening the noose more and more their last few ppv shows.

Don't sleep on Barao v Jorgensen. FotN if Diaz-Condit doesn't get it.

They didn't even keep First Row down. They won't keep ANYONE down who's based in strange places outside the US.

All the US did was get a bunch of URLs from First Row. Now servers, not any arrests, just URLs. Therefore, http://www.firstrowsports.eu/ was up before the other links were even cold. I fully expect vipbox to be ready to do the same thing, same as all the smarter poker sites did.

I am really looking forward 2 the first 2 fights on facebook, Michael "Judo" Kuiper and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson both studs and making their UFC debuts. I think this card is going to be impressive once it is said and done. Not because of big names just good fights.

that's a plus but the fucking nfl music during the fox and fx shows tilts me to no end. they've put a ton of money and effort into bringing the ufc to the fox family of stations and use that shitty football music of theirs

Diaz & Condit is interesting because we rarely see that much talent in the ring at the same time.

I think Diaz is going to shut Condit down pretty quickly, perhaps dropping around in the process but ultimately making it impossible for Condit to kickbox effectively while avoiding those stiff jabs on the way in. I see Condit just getting walked down and battered from the 2nd round on.

I dont see a lot of other significant fights on this card tho, which is really frustrating.

Im sure some of them will be barn burners but none have any real impact on their respective weight class rankings/title contentions/so on, and I find that frustrating considering how packed the talent pools in almost all the divisions are.

i hope you're wrong i would much rather see condit fight gsp then the slap vs gab fest that would be gsp/diaz

I expect we will see both eventually. That said I think Diaz has the potential to take GSP out of his comfort zone. I cant say that for Condit.

This picture shows why I don't think Diaz can beat GSP. He has way too much scar tissue around his eyes and his forehead. GSP will jab the shit out of him until a wide cut opens up over his right and they will stop the fight. Diaz will not be able to land the number of punches that he needs to accumulate any damage and he will not be able to take GSP down. Boring, but bloody fight in my opinion. At least with Condit there is the chance of a ko.

You know, I wanted to say Diaz had a reach advantage but holy shit, GSP and Diaz are both listed at 76 in...

FWIW, I cant ever see a matchup between two people with that much talent as boring. That said, I took time off from work to watch the Deep Blue chess matches online in real time.

Anybody that is interested in taking a flyer on Condit I would take the win by TKO/KO +450 prop on 5dimes. I can't see him winning by decision or submitting Diaz.

Since I posted this, the line on Henry Martinez has dropped from +325 down to +280, must be some like-minded peeps putting some coin on him.
