Semi-interested in watching Aldo retire Florian, nothing else means shit to me, except Maia ending up on undercards, which just makes me sad.

Cant wait to download this and play WoW while glancing at it on a tiny corner of my screen.

i dont know, the brazil card was amazing. this is looking like about 105 minutes of judges decisions, plus florian going 0-3 in title bouts after aldo violences him.

yeah the brazil card was crazy,lot of kos,can see 3or4 fights goin to decision here but thers some good scraps,petis vs stephens,guillard vs lauzon,garcia v phan,,florian has good muay thai but cant see him standing with aldo whos on another level.

On paper, the brazilian card was horrible. Silva vs Okami was the main event and it was pretty obvious (odds makers agree) who was going to win that one. Nogueira was had lost 2 of his last 3 fights and was looking at retirement if he lost. Forrest, well, he's just terrible. Not sure how you were more excited about that card than this one, which you claim is not even worth paying for.

This card has 2 title bouts, granted Florian will probably lose badly, it will still be interesting to watch and see. It also has two fights where the winner may get a title shot with Sonnen v Stann and Lauzon vs Guillard (Guillard probably gets a title shot if he wins in spectacular fashion, Lauzon would not). The Guillard fight is definitely not going 3 rounds. I actually think one of the better fights will be Pettis vs Stephens.

Did you all nap it out on last weeks UFN? Best card of the year and it wasn't even close.

we get free espn here but UFN was on versus so couldnt watch it,watched the danzig v wiman,good ol scrap that was.

On paper the Brazilian card was terrible for honkey fanboys. For MMA fans who understood what can be expected from Brazilians on Brazilian turf, it was a no brainer that this was going to be the event of the year at the very least.

I do hope Sonnen wins tho, nothing would please me more than watching yet another roiding dirtbag's train get derailed, especially since Stann brings fuckall to the equation for Silva to worry about in the slightest.

Pettis v Stephens is going to be hot fire but also on Spike. Lauzon is going to neutralize Guillard probably and try to impregnate his asshole for 15 minutes, although Guillard catching him and ape-fisting him is possible, but either way I dont really care, both are golden oldies acts with no real title relevance.

Aside from Florian possibly dying, Im just not that interested.

How are you sleeping on the Garcia/Phan ans Cantewell/Massenzio fights Sonatine? I do agree with you though that Guillard will clip Lauzon with a punch then follow him to the ground and pretty much donky kong pound him until the ref stops it.

Phan Garcia? Isnt the whole point of UFN to provide a place for amateur fighters to prove themselves? Phan is 16 and 9 and has never fought anyone of consequence much less beaten them. Garcia is 15 and 7 and has lost to almost every significant opponent he has faced and plenty of insignificant ones a swell. Their last fight was terribad and now they are on a PPV for a rematch? Fuck outta here nigga.

And what th fuck is there to say about Cantwell/Massenzio? Cantwell has lost his last 3 fights, and all were decisions. Massenzio has dropped 3 of his last 4 bouts. These are not compelling fighters to me, this is Zuffa doing some house cleaning.

This card is stacked. The Brazil card was wack. I didnt see the fights maybe the fights were good but no interest to me. My boy Pettis who got screwed out of a title shot then layed on by Guida for 3 rounds. The problem with mma now is you shouldnt attack from your back. Even wrestlers have good jj defense and although you put 20 sub attemps on them you still lose.

I'm at a Brewers/Cubs game for a bachelors party and Im the only sober one because I had my son with me. The group I'm with gets into it with Guidas Cubs group. The guy is fuckin tiny. Anyways the crowd is chanting Fabio at Guida, and hes sitting in the isle I think his whole group moved to better seats so he didnt have a seat. The drunks I'm with are talking mad shit to him and hes just cool as hell. Hisgroup which was like 20 younger biker looking dudes were all down to fight but Guida wasnt fighting anyone. Then someone in my group figured out who he is, and started nut hugging him, and he sat by them and shot the shit. One time in the isle he got bumped and he said to his friend I dont know how much more of this I can take.

Just released that Jon Jones will fight Machida at 140 instead of Rashad as had been rumored.

For Devidee, Maynard literally lives up to his nickname of "the bully" in that he cuts enough to make weight that by the time he walks into the octagon he has between 10 and 15 pounds on most of the fighter. It is even worse for Edgar because they have said that he walks around at 155 and doesn't cut. Maynard is a good grinding fighter with a slid base which is why I guess most of the fans don't like him.
