Paris Hilton Arrested for Cocaine Possession in Las Vegas

Police pulled over a car in which Paris Hilton was riding Friday night on the Las Vegas Strip because officers smelled marijuana smoke coming from the vehicle. During a search of the car and the passengers' possessions, police found an undisclosed amount of cocaine in Hilton's purse.

Hilton was booked around 2:00am for possession of cocaine and released.

A source close to Hilton tells X17online.com exclusively, "Paris was borrowing a friend's purse because it matched her outfit better than than the one's she brought with her to Vegas. She didn't realize there was anything left inside the bag - the amount of drugs was so small she didn't even see it because it in a small pocket inside the purse."

Hilton has faced other drug charges in recent months - in July she was detained in South Africa for alleged marijuana possession but charges were later dropped with police determined the drugs were not Paris'. A few weeks later reports claimed, as Paris traveled to Corsica, a customs offical found a gram of marijuana in Hilton's purse through Paris denied the stories via her twitter.

Our source tells us Paris is again upset that she has again been unfairly associated with drugs: "Paris is mad because she's being blamed for a friend's mistake."

If no marjuana was found, and it seems neither were charged with possesion, it's more shady cop bs to search passenger on a DUI stop. Hilton is being charged with felony possession. This isn't LA.

They found Zig Zags, but no pot, so it's entirely possible that they tossed a joint out the window. The driver failed a sobriety test, so I'm guessing the charge is standard DUI.

"While we were waiting for the female officer to arrive, Hilton said she needed to put some lip balm on, and I handed her the purse from the table," the report said. As she opened it, a bundle of what looked like cocaine in a plastic bag fell from the purse, and the lieutenant caught it. The officer put the bundle back insde the purse, waiting for other officers to witness it, he wrote.

When other officers arrived, Flynn wrote that he opened the purse, removed the suspected bundle and read Hilton her Miranda rights. "She told me the purse was not hers, and that she had borrowed it from a friend," the report said. However, Hilton did admit that a broken tablet of Albuterol, also found inside the purse, was hers and was prescribed to her, according to the report. Albuterol is commonly prescribed for diseases such as asthma.

Hilton said several cosmetics inside the purse were not hers, but that $1,300 cash and credit cards in the purse were hers, the report said. She also said a package of Zig Zag papers, "which are commonly used to roll and smoke marijuana," according to the report, were hers.

"I asked Hilton whose cocaine it was, and she said she had not seen it but now thought it was gum," according to the arrest report.

Authorities placed her under arrest and transported her to the Clark County Detention Center, the report said. The substance was tested and confirmed to be 0.8 grams of cocaine.

Often times when women loan out their purses, they forget all about the cocaine left in them. And it's perfectly understandable to think that a plastic bag with white powder in it is chewing gum.

Not a good track record for Tryst as far as management teams are concerned. The former GM there got a DUI on the strip and tried running from the scene. Wynn fired his whole team as well.

24 hours prior to the arrest, Cy and his brother were promoted by Steve Wynn to Managing Partner in both Tryst and XS. Cy was probably out celebrating when he got pulled over.

Seems like Wynn is considering firing the other brother also.
