Restaurants grab up most of the Prime grade beef, but if you look around you can find old school butcher shops like this-



Notice the long tenderloin (filet mignon) primals. They have $60/pound wagyu (kobe) beef there. They can get $150/lb steaks if anyone wants to split one during the WSOP. That's the beef they sell for $60 per OUNCE at the top steakhouses.

No, they're American. To get graded as Prime, the beef has to have a good amount of intramuscular fat. When you cook it at very high heat, it all just liquefies into the meat.

Side note: This is almost thread worthy, but since you already started a brag thread, allow me to add to it. A good friend of mine was in town this week and needed to spend off the rest of his expense account Thursday night, roughly around $1k. So, being the good friend that he is I was treated to a night out at Cut in the Pallazzo where we had the wagyu porterhouse, which was $190 for 2, bunch of different ridiculously good apps and sides. Everything was amazing, and to top it off I got our very cute waitresses digits.

Afterwards we went to Spearmint Rhino. I know it probably sounds like BS, but I never go to strip clubs. I've been a total of 5 times in the last 10 years I've lived here. I have to say the Rhino is the shit though as far as strip clubs go. I was immediately approached by this Jamaican girl that was ridiculously hot, and actually really cool. Long story short, I free rolled a BJ in the VIP room. Paid her the standard $200 for the half hour in there, and this chick blew me without me even asking for it. Couldn't believe it to be honest considering we were in a room full of people. Granted it is dark as shit in there, but still. She then asked me to pretend her nipple was her clit and for me to show her what I could do...lol. So, I did the best I could to pretend it was a clit and went to town while she grinded on me and played with herself, eventually cumming, or at least she acted like she did. Probably the best stripper experience of my life. Got her digits too but who knows how that will ever pan out, after all she is a stripper.

After that I was pretty much spent but still had some funny money to spend, so I ended up getting a very hot Indian girl. Also very cool, but just gave me the standard VIP treatment, no BJ.

All in all it was a good night.

I highly recommend the Rhino if you are here and want to go to a strip club. There was literally a girl for every guy in there, maybe 2.

when i got here, thats where i got all my game meat + steaks during the 15 minutes or so it took to go effectively broke at the aria 9/18 mix game.

When I have done my private cooking for other and thay ask for TOP TOP wagyu-meat I could go here, but I am sure this is American/wagyu, not Kobe/Wagyu
If you dont know Wagyu is the breed of cattle that is raised in Kobe, and American/wagyu is a off breed of the Kobe/wagyu. American/wagyu is like a 3er generation cow.
#1 would be Kobe/wagyu
#2 would be Australia/wagyu
#3 would be American/wagyu

It is really really hard to get Kobe/Wagyu (and it is like2.5x that a lb.) if you are not a big buyer or Rest. BUt dont get me worng this is a great place to ge top, top meat and other things.

I too can vouch for the quality of the spearmint rhino. I've been to probably 5 or 6 vegas strip clubs and the rest don't even come close to comparing to the rhino. Amazing.
