I figured I would put this in retard siberia as not to upset the pc crowd. Feel free to include any and all ethnic groups white, black, Asian, Jew, Russian, or anything else that you can think of. Also any good original ideas for multiracial jokes since Jasep is working on his stand up routine. Have fun, learn some new words, share some new words, and leave all the -dix you want to.

I'll start with sixty percenters for the negros and camel jockeys for the Middle Easterners and snow niggers for the Eskimos.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_slurs

some of my favorites:

Alligator bait
(U.S.) also Gator Bait. A black person, especially a black child. More commonly used in states where alligators are found, particularly Florida. First used in the early 20th century, although some hypothesize the term originated in the late 19th century.

Note also this can be stretched to include Top Water Jig(aboo) for a water skiing negro.

Hymie
(U.S.) offensive term for a Jewish person, derived from the personal name Hyman (from the Hebrew name Chayyim). Jesse Jackson provoked controversy by referring to New York City as "Hymietown" in 1984

LOL at the black "leader" using an ethnic slur, but Farakhan does it too so it must be ok

Paddy
(Primarily UK) an Irishman.[144] Derived from a nickname for Patrick. Often derogatory; however, Lord Edward FitzGerald, a major leader of the United Irishmen of 1798, proclaimed himself proudly "a Paddy and no more" and stated that "he desired no other title than this".

I always liked this one because it led to the "paddy wagon" ,which was so named because the police used it to round up drunk Irishmen, and it itself is a huge racial slur.

Spearchucker
A term used for an African American, or other person of African descent.

Self explanatory as to why that is funny. I would imagine that someone of Zulu ancestry would dominate the javelin event in the olympics.

I often use the word Bluegums to describe the negros.
Or maybe African Stumpjumper.
Alabama porch monkey is always acceptable.

You are correct sir. I have edited the thread title to include ethnic slurs. I will petition Druff to get you the "grammar police" title.

GOOK

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/gook

Folk etymology suggests that during the Korean War, young Korean children would point at U.S. soldiers and shout "미국" (mee-gook), the Korean word for "America". Soldiers heard the word as "Me Gook", as if the children were defining themselves as "Gooks." The soldiers proceeded to use that term to refer to the Koreans. The word 국 (國, gook) itself simply means "country". This explanation ignores the fact that there are many examples of the word's use that pre-date the Korean War.

HONKY

http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=honky

also honkey, derogatory slang word for "white person," 1967, black slang, of unknown origin, perhaps from late 19c. hunky "East-Central European immigrant," a colloquial shortening of Hungarian. Honky in the sense of "factory hand" is attested from 1946.

Spic

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spic

Some in the United States believe the word is a play on their pronunciation of the English "speak."[1][2][3] It may also derive from "spig", which was originally used to refer to Italians, in turn from "spiggoty" (sometimes spelled "spiggity", "spigotti", or "spigoty") which may derive from "spaghetti" or "no spika de Ingles".[4] The oldest known use of "spiggoty" is in 1910 by Wilbur Lawton in Boy Aviators in Nicaragua, or, In League with the Insurgents, page 331. Stuart Berg Flexner in I hear America Talking (1976), favored the explanation that it derives from "no spik Ingles" (or "no spika de Ingles").[5] These theories follow standard naming practices, which include attacking people according to the foods they eat (see Kraut and Frog) and for their failure to speak a language (see Barbarian and Gringo).

Gook Edit: just noticed already entered

Gook /ˈɡʊk/ is a derogatory term for East Asians which came to prominence in reference to enemy soldiers.[1] U.S. Marines serving in the Philippines in the early 20th century used the word to refer to Filipinos.[1] The term continued to be used by American soldiers stationed around the world to refer to non-Americans.[2][3] It acquired its current status as a racial slur at the time of the Vietnam War (1959-1975).[4]

I'm 100% Irish. One day a black guy asked me what my ethnic background was, I told him Irish, he said "you're a white nigger"

I'm not sure if that was a racist comment, but I was def offended.

I've often wondered the etymology of the Yiddish slur "Schvoogie". Most importantly when to use it instead of the more common schwarze.

My uncle regularly refers to Scandos as "Herring-eating fjord apes" & "Reindeer fuckers" & "Lutes" (I assume from their healthy appetite for lutefisk).

I also remember reading in some fictional book that Dago derives simply from the number of Southern Mediterraneans named Diego. Can't find proof though.

The only person I can think of that I've ever heard say that word is Sal Governale.

The internets suggest the spelling Schwoogie.

Chosen people on the board, any help on this one?

Evidently, comes from
http://etymonline.com/?term=wop

derogatory for "Italian," 1912, Amer.Eng. slang, apparently from southern It. dialect guappo "dandy, dude, stud," a greeting among male Neapolitans, said to be from Sp. guapo "bold, dandy," which is from L. vappa "sour wine," also "worthless fellow;" related to vapidus (see vapid).

^that being said, I also read that it goes back to early 1900's immigration and it stands for WithOut Papers. prolly sure that's a retrofix. "Guinea" is easy, Southern Mediterreans were a boat-ride away from Africa. Races have been mixed there FOREVER. Larger Guinea was larger.

Still want an answer on SHVOOGIE. Prolly find it myself b4 the Dead Sea Pedestrians who run this board.

Derived from early slave times when black people would come out at night and sing slave songs under the moonlight like crickets.
