UB/AP is just so filthy in so many ways.

This year during the series I kept seeing hoes walking around with UB logos all over their clothing and always on their butts. There were many of them, and they were there day in and day out. Mind you they were never doing anything either - they were not "booth candy" (although I'm sure these hoes have worked in that industry too) they had no task other than to look pretty.

now this isn't something bad, except they were told to lie about why they were there.

Let me give some background as to why I call these girls "UB hoes." First off these are not smart girls. These are those very superficial LA-types that wear tons of makeup. If they think you are poor they wouldn't give you the time of day, if they think you are rich they would chat you up and be on your jock, if you will.

I spoke to a pack of 3 of them in the interview room, where they asked me to take a picture of them (so mad I didn't whip out the flip cam, as that is the only legal place I could shoot video) The 3 of them did the "hoe pose," in that they turned to the side, pushed out the chest, sucked in the gut, etc. If you don't know what I'm talking about go to Facebook and search:

and you will see what I'm talking about. Ok, so after I snapped the lol picture I asked if UB paid them $ to walk around the WSOP. They replied as if reading a script and said

"no, we are here for our friend"

so then I asked them who they were rooting for. mind you this is 24 handed in the main event, so I figure they would be trained to say Adam "Roothlus" Levy. Wrong. one looked at the other and said

"what is his name again?"

lololololol. These UB hoes were too stupid to remember who they were "friends" with. This pretty much proves that UB paid skanks to walk around Rio and show skin with UB logos on them.

They took up a bunch of prime rail when the tourney got exciting and real fans were 3 or 4 deep. (that is more of a Harrah's issue than UB) Further more I don't have any major problem with this other than the lies about why they are here, and generally hating on UB for these shallow marketing attempts to cover up the fact they stole millions from the players.

I saw them during the day six or seven and I seriously thought they were between the ages of 15-17.

AP was doing this 5 years ago, so it's not a surprise it's still going on. The 2005 USPC was my first 10k main event. Before the event I contacted Mark Seif about wearing AP patches since 90% of my games were played on AP at the time. Before the tournament I met up with a rep. from AP, who gave me a long-sleeved shirt with an AP patch, as well as an AP hat. I was also introduced to three girls who would be models during the tournament. Two, I believe, were professional models. The 3rd was met at a Vegas pool by one of the AP reps. Not only were these girls there to rep the AP logo and hopefully get some ESPN time as the token hot chick in the crowd, but I was told they were also there to help us. The AP rep told us anytime we needed a drink, some food, somebody to hang out on our rail, etc. ... they were there for us. I absolutely took advantage and got some Redbull out of it. AP did the exact same thing a few months later at the Ultimate Poker Challenge at the Place (yes, really) and then the next year in Tunica for the World Poker Open.

Maybe your models were different than the ones I met, but I can honestly say four of the 9 or 10 girls I met were legitimately good people. I still talk to two of them on a semi-regular basis. In the 4-5 years I have known them, they have never struck me as gold-diggers.

None of this is shocking to me. Considering the level of our economy, the numbers of hores-for-ads will increase, esp when token "the rich guy who gives away disposable income for attn/pussy" pool decreases.
