SF2 is average. I sold SF2 Turbo because I am a retard, and it was a huge mistake. I bought SF2 at a pawn shop hoping it would be just as good, but it's way too slow, TURBO OR NOTHING.

Ahhhh i used to love this game, at the time i thought it was awesome with all the stuff goin on in the background of each level. Solid game all around, great nostalgic value imo.

I remember my older brother and his buds used to play for dip. Everytime you lost you had to throw another pinch of scoal in till someone hurled. Sometimes they would play for twinkies and you had to eat twinkies every time you lost. Nothing better than watching some idiot get ko'd then stuff a couple of packs of twinkies down their throat till they hurled.

i always thought ken and ryu were the best, but used guile anyway - that filthy flash kick was the nutz - haha "sonic boom" - the best players i've seen though always use that fucking green beast - i fucking hate that thing - and his character is totally useless to the newb/average player

Ken was the best character. I can't remember if Ken and Ryu were exactly the same in SF:2, but I know in Championship Edition Ken had a few advantages over Ryu.

There is actually a Fighting Game championship in Vegas every year that features StreetFighter2 Turbo every year (this year is the HD Remix version with gameplay fixes). For those in the Vegas area and are bored I'd suggest checking it out http://www.evo2k.com/

i played about 4 hours of this game the past few days at one of my friend's place and it was super fun after not playing it in like 5+ years. my left thumb is even forming a callous LOL.






sftrue. i was playing my friend who mostly uses blanka and i was getting owned using ken. his counters are too good if both players have around the same playing skill level and the blanka user actually knows how to counter. i finally switched to guile and was able to peel off some wins pretty easily. dhalsim is also effective vs. blanka if you know what you're doing. i never really thought about match ups much when i used to play when i was little but they are way more important than the character if the players have the same skill level. whoever picks first would be at a hudge disadvantage imo.

There's an online playable version of SF2:Turbo on XBox arcade for a few bucks. PM me if you want a Chun Li boot to the dome.

meh. i don't have any game counsels, let alone an xbox i used to play a bunch when i was youger but never stuck with it unfortunately because it is fun.
