What was the reason? Were they restricted from posting certain material? didn't like the font options? I don't understand how Barry's posts about kickball, steak knives or what tv he wants rate any higher than any others. I can't see a moderator discouraging people from posting when this is all there is here. The larger the user base the better I would guess. Someone's not you're cup of tea, shout out against them or move on but why delete or ban?

I am not trying to be difficult or vague here but rehashing the cause of the mass exodus is extremely old news but I promise you that it had zero to do with DirtyB.


Also, for the record (imo) ....

- A ban and a "timeout" are two different things.

- Filtering nonsensical gibberish and moving things to other forums isn't censorship, it's called organizing and moderating... pretty big difference.

In an open uncensored forum entitled Shooting Off certainly there needs to be little "filtering" A post about which country produces the finest steak knives may or may not be valuable information to others. If someone finds it ludicrous then they can say so. I see no need to move it to another forum. Some of the stupidest posts produce the most involvement from other members. Some go unanswered. Let it be.
