Ugh, the whole thing is a mess and I could hardly follow.

I think he played some events, so those events were like normal stakes so no pay back on that money, and then the money he had left over are supposed to be distributed percentagewise to the investors and the rest he has to pay back, plus he didn't get all the money right away so he's not sure how to handle that.
