So, I was told by muffin bluffin that he was a moderator on this site. Came to the site, some guy "welcomes" me to the site and tells me that muffin was a moderator and was "the guy who does trades" on donkdown. I usually trade on another site. So guy "Mason" tells me this, then muffin sends me a pm to verify who he is. Sent $195 gdmp, he rolled me. Nobody mess with this guy, even if somebody else refers you. I feel kinda dumb for this, but thought I would warn everybody. I notified mod and he suggested I start a thread.

Give us a timeline please. Also, this "Mason" guy, was that the full name? Did he also send you a pm?

Also, I remember in BB's first post she said someone named "Mason" explained to her where to post. So I guess "Mason" (probably Muffin Bluffin's other screen name) is apparently targeting new users and acting like he's a mod or something.

Yeah, this happened the day I signed up for donkdown. The guy who pm'ed me to "welcome" me to the site called himself Mason Malmuth. He basically vouched for Muffin Bluffin and said he had been a mod at donkdown. Muffin had contacted me on the site I usually trade on, and I made him pm me through here so I knew he was a verifiable member. However, looking back, I see what a dumbass I was as I let a few suspicious things go unnoticed. I'm usually pretty suspicious but I guess I wasn't on top of my game this time. Anyway, so I sent the $195 and he never emailed me back.

After this, I did a thorough search of muffin's sn on several sites and come to find out he's done this before. I should have done this whole search prior to sending, and I realize that now, but I guess I put too much trust in this guy who said Muffin was the guy who did trades here and that he was a mod. Now I obviously realize that was part of the scam. Hate to lose the money, but hate feeling stupid even more.

this is the 3rd claim that Muffin Bluffin has done this on DD. he's also been outed on 2+2 for scamming.

also, another new member said that Mason Mallmutt sent a welcome to DD PM and was posing as a moderator here

I'm new here, but I'm honest. I know anybody could say that on the internet, but why would I post something out of the blue that makes me look dumb just to get some guy I never heard of before banned from a forum?

think outside the box...i know most of you can't..but just try. and once again..i'm not saying it didn't happen, but this is a good way to try and fuck somebody up by saying this very thing, and flush out his name and other personal info, just for some sick pleasure of hate or redemption.
