I used to play CS back in the day, looking for a new multiplayer FPS game i can play. Is COD4 the best right now? I prefer games with higher skill caps, and no bullshit farming like retarded MMO's like world of warcraft and other gay games in order to compete at the highest levels.

Anyone play any? Thinking of downloading COD4 off of steam.

TeamFortress2 is good if you don't want a 1v1 dueling type game. What do you mean by high skill caps? QuakeLive is good (and free) if you want a dueling game but the learning curve is high if you never played a fast paced FPS game before.

I am up almost 10k this summer in micro FR and 6 max 15-20 tabling and I have tons of backers but yep just keep laughing at me and i'll keep dedicating my life to improving my poker game and getting somewhere big in life.

I've been playing Combat Arms and Crossfire. The free ones.

On the Wii, if you have one, get The Conduit. That is an amazing online FPS.

COD4 for me is hands down the best FPS as far as realism, gameplay, action and fun.

COD: WaW didn't really fire me up much past the first month. I went back to COD4 and never looked back. The new trailer is out for COD:MW2 and I am walking around with a 6-foot erection any time I think about it.
