WENT TO A MEXI RESTARAUNT AND GOT 2-3 TACOS AND CHIPS AND SALSA TO GO MAYBE A MONTH AGO. I DIDN'T PAY THE BILL THE YOUNG GIRL JUST HANDED ME THE BAG AND I WALKED OUT. IT WAS A NICE 5-6 DOLLAR SCORE. LOL. BUT I WENT BACK TODAY AND THEY CALLED ME OUT ON IT. IT WAS PRETTY HUMBLING WAITING FOR THE FOOD THIS TIME AND THE MID 40S WAITRESS WITH A GOLD TOOTH GIVE ME DIRTY LOOKS THE WHOLE TIME. I MEAN IF THEY HAND ME A BAG IM LEAVING, AM I TOTAL JEWBAG?

To answer your question; yes, you are a total jewbag and most people would not do that. It reminds me of a situation I got into recently at subway. There's a guy making/giving out the subs, and then another person taking money for them. The person in front of me pays for their sub while it's being toasted and then goes and orders their additional toppings. I didn't do this because the person at the cashier stepped away for a moment while my sub was being toasted, but the guy making the sub was under the impression that I had already paid. So he when he wraps my sub up and says "here you go, have a nice day". And I have to tell him "Uhh... I haven't paid yet". That's a line I have to believe most reasonable people would take. Anything else is just stealing.

I can also recall another situation where the cashier at the poker room gave me $20 too much, and I corrected it because I know that mistakes come out of their paycheck. Then again, I've also had more than one occasion where they've tried to short me over $1,000 when cashing out.

In your case, once you take the line that you're going to just steal their food the only reasonable next move is to not return to that eating establishment again.
