Can you describe what your day to day playing is like? Do you jump around from site to site looking for soft high limit games? Would you ever consider playing more volume at stars for lower stakes and making a chunk of your money thru their vip system, since you can rack up tons of vpps quickly in shorthanded limit games.

Like its cousin The Cold Call Show, the +EV show is running late.
It will be on, though.
ETA is about 3:45-3:50.

You need to fix the iTunes link on the radio page? How many more times do I need to tell you!!!(But you can copy and paste the link from the 2.0 link and paste that into the manual subscribe button in iTunes)

I listened to the part of the show where you were describing the type of poker players. I play mostly sngs then donk the remainder of my money at cash games, normally .50/1 nl. I know im not even close to being good enough to play cash games but its entertainment.

Overall found that the show was extremely well done. My only constructive criticism would be that I would like the advice to be less general. Some of the advice and topics were overly basic but then again I realize we have a wide range of listeners so you don't want to make it too complex either.

Agree, a light refresher on the general stuff then drill into the specifics.

I listened 24 tabling the mtt sngs yesterday from the archives and ran like God so maybe I will have to listen again just cause I won 3 180 man turbos in the two hour show. I've ran like shit in my two sessions ever since so maybe I'll listen again in hope for a good run again.

I ran like crap while listening to the show. Was a good show for people that have discipline problems and people that aren't aware of certain things.
One thing I took out of it is stashing cash away for when games die or for when I have to switch to a less profitable way. Time for me to start jewing it up a but and stashing the cash away

Druff was talking about watching training videos? I'd be curious where and who he would watch. I've seen so many myself but I'd like to hear if he felt someone was giving terrible advice if he watches one that felt was bad.
I agree with stashing money away and playing in games you have a better edge or that if you take a good loss in them in won't be too detrimental to not just your life but your poker game. It makes way more sense to scrape out a higher win rate at a lower level game then to deal with the emotional swings playing in a game you might make a little more in but when you lose it really crushes your soul.
BR management is so important beyond what people realize. They might say "Oh I know it is and agree" but do they really? I'd say No for a good 90% of them. Any article you read on the subject still has a bunch of info from 5 years ago where some say 20-30 BI for a NL game or 300 BB for limit holdem is a decent roll but it's not to regularly play the game. You can take a shot or two but if you drop like 15% of your roll and continue then your trying to put yourself in a bad/risky situation that usually never winds up good.
Say that guy that regularly can beat 3/6 limit decides I'll take a shot at 10/20 limit and he chunks off a majority of his roll. He gets crushed so bad that he has to move back down to 1/2 limit and spend countless hours just to get back to the 3/6 game he was able to beat for a decent hourly rate. I can say I've been an example where I've went on some semi-heeb type runs with a couple hundred bucks running fantastic moving up a stake and then up doing great for a couple days then getting my way up to $5k sitting in 50/100 limit to chunk it all off because of that rush feeling of "I'm running great nobody can beat me" type of mentality. It took me a few times of doing this to just stop as if you keep moving up on small rolls your just setting yourself up for busto.
