Very special episode this Wed.
Tom McEvoy will be on DonkDown radio to tell all he knows about FTP.
Also, for you poker nerds like myself out there, I will be going to his home to photograph and video tape his extremely extensive and old poker memorabilia collection, with some awesome WSOP shit from the early 80's and stuff. For a pro player and total fanboy like myself, I cannot wait to see his treasure trove of old WSOP shit, Amarillo Slim's Superbowl of poker brochures, Stu Ungar stuff, and likely dozens of crazy things I can't even comprehend but really can't wait to see.

Tom McEvoy is a former Team PokerStars Pro. He probably doesn't know shit about FTP except maybe some 3rd party rumors that everyone else knows. Have McEvoy talk about PokerStars and what compensation everyone at Team PokerStars makes. Also, maybe he has some insight into whether or not U.S. Team PokerStars pro's deserve anymore money. Let's face it, these players need to be fired from PokerStars immediately... David Williams Vanessa Selbst Barry Greenstein Chad Brown Vanessa Rousso Victor Ramdin Jason Mercier Eugene Katchalov Online Poker is NOT LEGAL in the United States and probably won't be in the near future. UB, Absolute Poker, FTP and PokerStars will be forbidden to do business in the U.S. even if online poker becomes legal. So having U.S. based pro's sponsored by PokerStars has no value whatsoever. The only legal big online poker sites that will be permitted to operate in the U.S. will be 888 and PartyPoker.

One other topic you might want to mention/discuss: your sponsor HeroPoker requiring playthrough on all freeroll prizes
as of 2/1/2012 HeroPoker requires a playthrough on all freeroll prizes...i guess there were too many freeroll whores on the site...(once again effing grinders killed a great thing)
so now, the freeroll prizes are now really bonuses for playing cash games or cash tourneys--typically a number of VIP points must be earned to clear the bonus. Still an attractive offer imho....I am not sure how playthrough requirement is determined for each event.
I don't know if the prizes for the Wednesday night Cold Call Tourney will have a playthrough requirement...maybe you could get in touch with David Jung?

Online poker in the US is and has always been legal, but why do you care who Stars sponsers? Who the fuck cares I'm pretty sure they know a thing or 2 about running a succesful company.
