Missed the show as usual to working shitty 2nd shift. Would have liked to ask him some questions about his pokering (fail). Even attention whores like Athene (Chiren80) are talking epic ammounts of shit about how he can't beat $2 SnG's and how just because you are great at something doesn't always transition well into other things.

I respect him highly as a FPS gamer, he was (and still is) way better than my best day playing Quake but as a poker player I am pretty sure you can pick any degen here at random and crossbook action vs him at no worse than even money.

I'm fine with you guys thinking your pissing me off or something acting like this but we all know where im going to end up in poker when being serious. I am up almost 10k this summer in micro FR and 6 max 15-20 tabling and I have tons of backers but yep just keep laughing at me and i'll keep dedicating my life to improving my poker game and getting somewhere big in life.

In his defense, I don't think he was claiming to be a great poker player yet. He's working on becoming one.

Whether he succeeds will be seen in the next year or so.

Why would we buy boris?

We don't want to be a clone of boris. We want to be our own site. We already have more traffic than boris, anyway.

I also doubt boris would sell at 4k.

Also, if we bought boris, we would lose most of the users, anyway. Remember, boris was started as a "protest" site to NWP. While some people still post at both, many are there because they don't want to be part of the NWP/donkdown community. If we simply took over boris, they would move elsewhere.

I think their software/platform is what you would want, again assuming you got it cheap.

Their software/platform is out of the box - we could be retarded and do that too. Instead, we have the most powerful open-source CMS on the market that is easy to add-on (as we have slowly but surely done).
