Obv. Kolb ain't Aaron Rodgers. But is he better than Derek Anderson? Is he better than Alex Smith or Tavaris Jackson? I want to drop a bet on the Cards winning NFC BEST. I think 7-9 will totally do it. The lines are totally awesome.

I'm pretty sure he's better than the guys you listed but that's not saying much

This.
Odds of him being good depends on what you mean by good. Odds of Cards winning the division I say 20%.

I think the Rams get 9-10 wins this year in that division.
I'm a Sam Bradford nut-hugger though. That kid is going to do BIG things.
I think Kolb goes 3450 yards 22 TDs and 16 INTs this year.

As long as your line can protect he will be very good. If they can't you are in for a long season. He is not the fastest guy out there, not very mobile at all. Accurate as hell though.

I think Tavaris Jackson will do better than expected.

Alex Smith will win the MVP award this season so, no, he isn't better than Smith. He will be good but LOL @ giving him $63m or whatever they gave him. He has started, if I recall correctly, 4 games in his career.

schaub got $48m for starting like 3 games, and cassel got $63m for starting 15 games where he got to throw to welker and moss from behind a great OL all year, it seems crazy but thats what the market is for a young talented starting qb right now, if they wanted kolb thats what it was going to cost

The Rams have never worried me a bit. The 9ers are always supposed to be good, but it never works out. Seahawks are toast. I give the Red Birds at least a 75% chance of taking the division this year. Not sure what to expect in the post season though.
Have listened to a few interviews with Kolb since the trade and really like what I am hearing. He has also worked out with Fitz several times this off season.
Go Cards.

Rams will win the division. It will be close only because the Rams have a TOUGH first half schedule.
Alex Smith will win the MVP award this season so, no, he isn't better than Smith. He will be good but LOL @ giving him $63m or whatever they gave him. He has started, if I recall correctly, 4 games in his career.
You really should just stfu when it comes to talking pro football, you are clueless.

i'm totally ok with betting the cards for nfc Beast. sam bradford is totally gonna sophomore slump (4-12), the seahawks r retarded, and the 0-9ers gonna OH. the cards are totally winning with 6-10. even better, gonna win wild card again. but i'm not gamblin that.

Because I said Alex Smith is going to win the MVP? I'm sorry Vegas, but if you read that and think I am being serious, you need to get your head checked.

Well you were serious about the Cowboys and that was almost as dumb.

I was serious about thinking the Cowboys would be good but I was not serious about them going 16-0 and Bryant/Austin being the best WR duo in the history of the NFL, or whatever else I said.
