Are you guys really that naive? It is the refs job to keep the game close and give the Packers a chance to win it. the Packers just failed to keep their end of the bargain with the turnovers, dropped balls and errant passes. Unfortunately, the refs have no control over that.

It's the refs job to call anything and everything in favor of the home team who are already HEAVILY favored to win.

That call was absolute bullshit. If they aren't already, and I don't think they are, the refs need to be fined at the very least for blatant errors like that. There is absolutely no excuse for horrendous mistakes at this point of the season. That shit would be bad enough during the regular season, but to do it during the playoffs is inexcusable, especially in front of a national tv audience. That ref was either trying to help the Packers, or he was just too much of a pussy to overturn the call. Either way the guy should not work another game during the playoffs and should be fined or punished in some way.

It was the fair call. If the refs had kept the call on the field that it was a fumble it would have also stood. I think they just didn't have conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field, and the call happened to be not a fumble, so they kept it that way.

it was super close, I saw a still picture where his calf was down but the ball was on its way out, but theres no picture from the split second before, hard to call conclusive evidence when its that close

I would love to know what one of the refs saw that caused them to initially call it a fumble and then change their minds after huddling and call him down before the challenge though

nothing close about the ball clearly came out before he hit the ground .Refs were clearly favoring packers. Sadly for cheese heads though the refs couldn't catch the ball for them.

what happened on this play is the refs had to call it down by contact because it affected other things about the play. they cahnged their mind,..then couldn't agree,...they fucked up, and had to fuck up again to substantiate it for the first time.

it ws the lessor of two evils for them.
