Through speaking with delaware and a few others via aim and the phone he was able to cheat and collude his way to winning HIS OWN freeroll for a seat himself.

It must be very tough times in the TardPoker head office.

Update : He has given the seat to Delaware which is essentially an admittance of guilt.

Of all the sleazy things Tyde has done, his stealing onestep's 109 is at the top of the list of straight scumbag moves. Step won the tournament fair and square and because 1) tyde doesn't like him and 2) one step punked him the whole tournament, Tyde just makes the executive decision to with hold the seat from him. Utter and total bullshit. Apparently the seat was only open to people tyde likes. Then he goes a step further and openly colludes to take the money for himself? You can't get sleazier than that. Tyde keeps proclaiming that I will never be unbanned. Well here's a memo to you, jaymes. I don't want back on your site felonious site, and wouldn't come back if you personally sent me a beaver-gram inviting me. So, in closing..

I actually was just kidding and randomly replied in a thread. Marty got mighty defensive. Strange. He banned me for even suggesting he cheated. Thou doth protest too hard, Marty. Maybe I picked up on something on accident.

Hopefully he'll come forth with the full set of HHs so people can review them and he can restore his not so good name. As it is now, looks like a massive cover-up may be in the works.

I will give my honest opinion here, and it is not at all influenced by my past problems with Marty.

Regarding the onestep situation, I felt Marty was wrong. I fully support Marty's right to ban users in bad standing from the tournament, but he did a radio show during the tournament and announced several hands with onestep as they happened. Despite taking up more than 10 minutes of the show giving blow-by-blow accounts of his hands with onestep, he never once mentioned that onestep wasn't allowed to win.

You'd think that subject would have come up, especially on his radio show where that sort of thing would have made for an interesting discussion and/or revelation.

The truth is that Marty likely didn't even think of disqualifying onestep until after he won, and he was irritated about it. The fact that onestep made fun of him on the radio that night probably didn't help matters.

Marty should have awarded the $109 to onestep and then banned him from all FUTURE freeroll events.

You need to announce these things up front. Otherwise, it looks like you're picking and choosing the winners.

Regarding this collusion accusation, I did not watch the tournament, nor did I see any of the hand histories. Therefore, I cannot comment as to whether or not Marty was involved with collusion there. I do feel that it is very suspicious (and quite UB-like) to only offer to post the hand histories in a private forum that, presumably, only friendly parties could access.

If you're accused of cheating, you need to be as open and transparent as possible. Anything short of that makes you look guilty. So if Marty is NOT guilty, he would be best off posting the hand histories for everyone to see.

A) never played in a tournament that is meant to have added value for your members

B) played in the tournament making it clear you weren't eligible for the seat

D) not welched on your origional qualifier

E) drunk bleach a long time ago

Also, Marty -- and I'm giving my honest opinion here -- your solution of simply shipping the seat to delaware doesn't solve anything.

Why?

Because delaware is accused of being your partner in crime in this situation!

So, hypothetically, if you and delaware DID collude, all you're doing is shipping it to your collusion partner, which doesn't do anything to prove innocence!

Truthfully, I have no idea whether you're guilty or innocent here. Perhaps you did something shady, or perhaps trolls are just giving you a hard time for no reason. I don't know because I haven't seen any evidence either way.

However, the ONLY way to clear your name here would be to post all of the hand histories from the time in question. If you refuse to do that, people are going to assume guilt.

Another controversial update it seems like Delaware is now feeling too guilty about cheating and doesn't want the seat himself.

I was railing the Kuntmissioner for a few last night, and I even called out the obv collusion in the chatroom. I'll see if I can dig up a HH for you, but I'm sure the Kunt has 'em even if I don't.

The Kunt came in second, so he should get the seat.

edit: I don't have any HH's, as stars doesn't seem to save 'em after just observing. Ah well.

It's also entirely possible that Delaware chip dumped to Jewdonk without any discussion beforehand.

Delaware likes Marty alot and it would not suprise me if he feels sorry for him in his current financial state and therefore helped Marty win. Another reason he is refusing to play the tourney himself.

I agree that a couple of hands didn't look right and i commented in the stars chat about Delaware wanting Marty to marry his daughter.
