The divorce agreement included alimony for Luciaetta Ivey from money Phil Ivey receives from Tiltware. According to the agreement, if Phil Ivey stops receiving funds from Tiltware, Luciaetta Ivey's alimony "will cease."

And it ceased in April of this year per the article. Looks like Ivey was on a 450k a month salary from FT if the 180k was 40%.

If you know anything about debt and divorce, (which I just got a crash course on).....the fact that ivey is able to accept debt only proves he is in fact NOT busto from a net worth or asset standpoint.
I would already be divorced right now if it didn't take so long for banks to approve me accepting debt previously owned by my wife. They simply do not have to accept an arrangement you dream up otherwise people could get a fake divorce sliding all debt to one party and then default. That casinos, banks etc allowed him to take the 15 million in debt proves without shadow of a doubt that A. his debt is no where close to his assets and B. his liquid assets including cash cannot possibly pay off his debt. hence the arrangement with the lienholders/debt holders.
These arrangements are true of the majority of small business owners who get divorced. When you split a business, one side usually cannot buy out the other side with half without selling the business. otherwise, if they were that rich they wouldnt need to operate a small business with cash reserves over 50% of its value.
Bonus fact: I am going to the NC game in New Orleans and Ivey is going with my group. Dont believe me show up to NO. Or ask him where he is going Jan 10. Again, not busto. Not close.
