How are mid stakes LHE games playing in Vegas?

So I took many months off playing online and was only playing mid stakes LHE live. These games were much more loose passive than any online games, with multiple limp donks. I recently started playing mid stakes shorthanded LHE online again and I had forgotten how these games contrast from my live games. 6max is super laggy, 3 bet fests. Obviously, there are much tougher than the live game I am used to.

In order to beat the live game I had to make many adjustments from a 6max online game, slow the fuck down, and limp more in large multiway pots.

I found that these adjustments helped both my online game and my live game. I feel that since online games are so aggressive, a way to exploit this is to slow down a little bit and take advantage of other player's aggression.

I am wondering how Vegas games are playing in the mid limits (15/30- 30/60). Obviously, this is going to be dependent on who's playing in the game, but I am wondering if people are limping into pots and them going multiway, are players pretty tag? What should I expect when I go out to Vegas?

Sadly, this game has gotten a lot worse. Even some of the 60-120 and 100-200 regulars step down and play 30-60, if the bigger game isn't going.

Sometimes it's still good. As you pointed out, look for the number of limpers. I still think loose-aggressive play is the correct (albeit higher variance) strategy for these passive games, for the following reasons:

- You will get paid off more, because people will think you bluff a lot.
- You will "back-door-bad-beat" people, such as holding Q7 on an A92 flop, and then turning-rivering Q-7. If you are not leading the betting, you won't win hands like this.
- You will run people off better hands far more often. For example. if you raise with JT suited into a few limpers and the flop comes K-6-4, your continuation bet might get various better hands (A7, QJ, etc.) to fold.

I've heard that the Venetian has gobbled a great deal of the mid stakes action because of a $2 drop. Is that gonna be the place to be or should I still look to Bellagio for mid stakes action? (15/30-30/60)

I read something about venetian starting to have 10/20 games, but do they have anything bigger? Mirage dropped the 20/40 to $3 but my understanding is it doesn't make a good deal of the time. :(
