anyone remember playing this thing? i went to a local takeout joint and noticed it on my way out. obv gonna play next time i go there(didn't want food to get cold obv). video games have come a long way.

I remember playing Altered Beast at some restaurant eons ago, but I've played hella Golden Axe on the Genesis. Bring a friend and pwn them all!

GA was the shit, so was Altered Beast.

You need to download Kega and get some roms off of Romnation - Netplay on that fucker.

I loved those games. Last time I played any video game was Bond 007 GoldenEye and Super Mario Cart. Then they got too many buttons and I quit.

Golden Axe is tiight and you can download it for 800 microsoft points ($10) on xbox live arcade. BY the way the new Golden Axe: Beast Rider game for xbox360 is complete shit. If you are looking for a new game similar to golden axe, I've heard castle crashers is similar and very good.

YES ! castle crashers is very similar to the original Golden axe !! I really like it as much as I hate the damn beast riders .. what a waste of good tournament cash that was
