The oddest thing is that I just got a copy of all e-mails sent, and at least according to the e-mail archive, this was never resolved. ThxBearl claims he got his $500 back (or another $500 certificate), but nothing in the e-mail history indicates this. It just looks like Stars forgot about it.

Then again, now that I think of it, my last e-mail to Stars about the matter was missing from the history also, so perhaps Stars just fucked up again.

I'll get to the bottom of this soon.

Stars might just go ahead and give you another one rather then going through the trouble of figuring it out, so we may never know the whole story.

I once ordered something small (not this high in value) and thought I hadnt recieved it and emailed stars and they sent me another one. Well, it turned out that it was delieved to the office of my apartment complex and I didnt know.

Ship the scammer.

I don't know why they didn't send you the email again it would be so much more easier for them, But ill let you take care of it, It shouldn't take them too long to get you the right emails. I have e-mail confirmation from Stars that they did indeed issue ThxBearl a new certificate.

While Epistate raises a good point, I believe ThxBearl for the following reasons:

1) He really did e-mail Stars originally at the time all of this first happened. Had he rolled noolimit, he would have only pretended to have e-mailed them, but not actually done it.

2) Everything he has claimed has so far checked out.

3) I do believe that he got the certificate on August 17th, and the certificate was redeemed on August 3rd. Stars did not dispute this, though they never confirmed the exact date he got it. Still, I believe they probably would have disputed this if he hadn't really been issued it on the 17th like he said. After all, this is a $500 prize, not some $20 piece of crap that isn't worth checking a few records over.

I am shipping back the $50 to each person involved. I am also removing ThxBearl's scamatar.
