Playing this one, obv.
It's one of my favorite events, for various reasons:
1) It goes quickly. Everything resolves itself within 6 hours or so (sometimes less, sometimes a bit more) of the starting time on each day. No 12-hour days where you fail to cash.
2) The field is weak. Most tables have about 50% donks and semi-donks. You will also tend to draw a few good players, but if you get a half-donk table, it's a great edge, as they never move anyone else to play with you as the day progresses.
3) It favors shorthanded players. Most live players suck balls at shorthanded play. Other than fellow internet players and high-limit LHE regulars used to playing short, it's easy to run most people over.
I've played this for 4 years, 2006-2009.
I killed the table in '06, and came literally one card away from winning the second table and moving on to the 6-handed final table.
Ran really bad in '07 and didn't get anywhere.
Got off to a great start in '08 before failing to win any hands and finishing around 5th at the table.
Last year the table was half good and half donks. All of the good players, with the exception of Needleking, went out first. This left Needle alone with the donks, and he easily won. He ended up finishing 2nd in the entire event to Greg Mueller. They had both won previous limit bracelets last year, known as The Year The Same People Kept Catching Cards.
Looking forward to it today. This might be the last event I play until the Main.

Don't laugh -- he started off as a LHE player, and he has many LHE-specialist friends who have given him a lot of advice over the years.
Brandon is also playing.
Fortunately, none of us are at the same table.

There are tons of notables in the field today despite the fact that the $25,000 shorthanded event is running concurrently.
Tom "durrr" Dwan, Joe Sebok, Bryan Devonshire, Ylon Schwartz, Marco Traniello, Bryan Micon, Matt Hawrilenko, Barny Boatman, Jeff Madsen, Keven "stammdogg" Stammen and our returning champion in this event Greg "FBT" Mueller are all here for some min-raising action!
I like how they mention micon in the list of notables in a lhe event, but don't list todd.
