On Feb 3rd Doyles Room will be hosting an exclusive $500 freeroll for Donkdown members. This will take place during the Cold Call show. I'll be live in studio with Micon sipping on some bourbon and joining all the degens in the action. We've also worked out a deal with Doyles Room for our weekly radio tournament, which will now become our first Donkdown League. It will be a $5 weekly buyin with $50 added to the prizepool each week. Standings will be kept and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

I've been warned that there are password thieves out there that will crash our freeroll, so we won't be making the password known until the start of radio. Some of you may be able to figure it out though, but please do not post it if you do.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE FREEROLL


1) You need a Doyle's Room account. I suggest you get one by following the methods below. Keep in mind that Doyle's Room recently switched networks (to the Cake Network), so if you haven't used your account in awhile, it won't work. You are better off signing up for a new one using these instructions:

- Make sure you are using Internet Explorer as your browser to sign up

- Click on this link: http://rakeback.donkdown.com/rakeback/9 ... -Room.html

- FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AS LISTED (note: There is a step listed about entering a TRACKRB code. Ignore that step.)

- Once you have downloaded the software and created your account, you will get 33% rakeback for life on Doyle's Room!

- You can do this even if you already had a Doyle's Room account on a different network.



2) Once you have a Doyle's Room account, open the software and login. Click on the Tournaments tab on the software. Next, click on Private, which is a button on the next line of buttons, towards the right. You will see the DonkDown Radio Exclusive Freeroll listed. Double click on it.


3) You need to listen to DonkDown Radio for the password. I will give this out several times on the radio show before the 8pm tournament. Again, the tournament starts at 8pm PST, and the radio show will start at 7:30pm PST. We might post the password in here, but for now we are just going to announce it on radio.


4) If you have trouble listening to the show, post on this thread: official-dd-radio-thread-for-2-3-10-500-freeroll-t73226.html ... and we will try to resolve it for you.

also wouldnt it be better to do a league on fridays this would prolly neutralize the west coast time bias for east coasters and euros who would like to play

Most people already have a FTP or Stars account. A lot of users don't have accounts on some of the smaller sites & will use the DD affiliate links to sign up for rakeback.

thats all fine and good but that still didnt answer the orig quote, i also like druff have an old account at "doyles" and havent redownloaded or played there since they let us transfer our money over to full tilt yrs ago. now will all of us be able to get the rakeback fixed ? or was that just for druff?also, ill once again ask( im not downloading sites to find out)anyone that plays there, as 95% of the tournements i play are of the mixed/limit variety will they have the capability to do a league there with mixed games IF it is going to be a mixed game seiresw/league?

Not sure of their tourney schedule, but I would guess that they don't run anything besides HA as far as mix games...I hope I'm wrong though.

I got a suggestion for tournaments like this. A lot of poker rooms are able to do ticket or coupon freerolls, where you just get all our names ahead of time, and we get a ticket to it. It cuts off last minute sign ups, but completely derails any chance of outsiders making their way in.

Example: The night of the $500 added on Reefer, Reefer is also doing a freeroll for people who follow them on twitter. You follow them and send your screenname, and they put a freeroll ticket in your account. Keeps the field down to only who they want in there, and fuck all the russian password thieves in their thievin' commie fartpipes.

What's the current status of withdrawals on Doyle's Room? Do they have Western union WD or overnight courier check? What's traffic like? What kind of limits regularly run HU NL? 6 max NL? Limit?
