A friend of mine from back home wants me to go to the Bellagio Sportsbook and make a couple of bets on the USA to win the world cup so that he can use them as gifts in some Christmas gift exchanges. It wouldn't be that big of a deal since I go to the Bellagio all the time, but I leave to go home in the morning and wasn't planning on going there tonight. If they already offer betting on the world cup I'll go make the bets for him. I just don't feel like driving down there if they aren't going to have it. I tried to call in, but the NV gaming commission won't let me call the sportsbook. So dumb.

Anyway, does anyone know if they offer betting on the world cup yet or have a way to find out?

It's stupid, but there's a reason for it. Otherwise, every degenerate gambler in town would call every sports book and ask the odds on the 40 bets they're looking at, shopping for the best lines. Then the casinos would have to have 10 people manning the phones all the time.
