Hey guys I love the NWP Poker show, The Druff +EV show also is great (when he gets around to doing them lol) but I have pitch for you...
You need to sit down with Cowboy and get some vegas tales recorded. I think you should just record them to mp3 and upload a new tale each week. I am sure Cowboys has a ton of stuff he can share and I think we would all love to hear him.
Also I believe Cowboy is a Stud Player? perhaps he could co-host a Druff +EV show about Stud and some of older games???
Hit me back
Gareth
(PS You need to sort out the trolls on NWP, I think many of them put off new users, perhaps they should hold back for while a let the new guys settle in perhaps??)

another great idea that will wind up in the shit can because of Micon---after all, if it takes any preparation and requires longer than 20 minutes to finish Micon will lose interest, especially if its not his Vegas story

I just happened into this forum by mistake, and found your thread. The idea is good, but it should probably be in Shooting Off. I doubt Micon or Druff venture into this forum too often. Or maybe in the Radio forum.
I'd repost it myself, but taint my thread.

No, I dont post too much in Shooting off as the trolls get mad and start causing flame wars, If I do get any or some ideas I try to post them in the right place.
Lets hope Druff talks Micon around and gets Cowboys back into the studio soon

I tried to get a question into cowboy in this show but got cut off. There is a backstory to Sklansky being under the thumb of Tony Spilotro and the mob during the late 70''s/early 80's that would make for interesting fodder and probably piss him off. I have heard this from more than a few reliable people in the poker world. excerpt from the most unreliable of sources, Russ G. , but I have heard it confirmed by various others. Ask cowboy about it next time you get a chance. David Sklansky
David Sklansky worked in telemarketing for Bob Stupak, with Jack Zwerner. When he was there Marty Carson worked for Stupak. David was a team player for Spilotro and Chip in the Dunes in 1977 and 1978. [Of course I know Marty Carson. We have quite a few mutual friends including Bob Stupak (who he worked for as a security advisor). And yes, much of my cheating knowledge especially regarding electronics, comes from what Bob or others told me he told them. We have never discussed it directly. I have also never been involved either directly or indirectly with any cheating gambling using his devices. Ask him. David Sklansky RGP Post]
Sklansky also was a team player for Mike O'Connor and Spilotro. On the Cheating Tapes Bill Nirdlinger talks about how Sklansky was trying to improve the take on the games he played by getting rid of Tommy Hufnagle. Even though Tommy wasn't playing up to David's standard, Tommy was on a rush and winning all the money. [William Nirdlinger: David Sklansky and Tommy Hufnagle were all playing teams for Spilotro and Mike O'Connor. They were a part of the team. Sklansky used to help them with better playing.
