After a few weeks is a different matter. It's okay to mention relationships at that point -- but only sometimes. You have to be sure that the girl really wants you to mention this, and doesn't feel "pressured" or "smothered".

In any case, I think we have concluded that Jennicide acts more like a guy than a girl in many ways, so you should be careful in modeling your actions with other girls after what Jennicide would want.

I'm not faulting Jennicide here. It would actually be nice if most girls were more straightforward, but they're not, and that's reality you have to deal with.

Yup I agree with Druff Jenicides advice is thanked but as she is not like most girls i cannot take it at face value. I need the opinions of game playihg girls. I have a few friends that i am going to contact so lets see how that goes. I asked a girl that i know on a date and told her to kind of give me some insight about the date where i went wrong etc..

Sounds like you don't really need advice, you just haven't found the right girl yet. The one thing I can say for this last situation is that you failed at the end of the night -- in that you should have paid more attention to her. Seems like you maybe played it too cool? Problem is you beat yourself up now because you didn't get a call or her number, when you should have just sucked it up and missed the Canadiens play for one night (they probably lost anyways) and agreed to see her tomorrow night.

However, regardless of all the above, if there was chemistry between you it will happen again. If she was drunk and just looking to score...well that chance has come and gone.

Rabscuttle is Right, I left this out of the story to see who would have caught onto it because I wasnt sure if i did do this, or if it was that evident.

2 Weeks ago I was with a girl similar to Jenicides demeanor independent and stuff. I may have been too needy for her liking I wasn’t overly needy in my opinion but it had certainly been a while since I had even thought about a girlfriend and felt that with this girl that there may be potential. I came on too strong I guess and things went south.

Fast forward to past week end obviously I attempted to come off more cool as to not scare her away I think.

The obvious clue was when you were talking to this chick, you immediately stopped when your other friend asked you a question. Sometimes you gotta ignore the budy and focus on this girl ... especially when you're first talking to her. She's got to know you care more about what she's saying than your buddy. Maybe listen to her another 15 secs than whisper "ugh my drunk friend keeps bugging me let me see what he needs.." Tell the truth, I've played it too cool many a times and regretted it later -- usually muttering "effing good guys ALWAYS finish last" only to come to realize it was me that slipped up.

The other thing I note at the end of the story is this: your friend asks "why you gonna call him in 10 minutes?" This is the classic cock-block move. He is trying to prevent this call by making you feel silly for talking to this girl so quickly after dropping her off. Why?
a) He realizes what this call means. It basically says "I'll call you in 10 minutes and either you come here after ditching your friends or I'll go there.."
and He likes this chick and doesn't want you to hang out/talk to each other because it would then ruin any chance (which is likely 0 at this point) he has.

I mean, hes still gonna be your buddy first and foremost, but man you got to go for this girl because she has shown interest in you, not him. Get the god damn number or be a skirt.
