Hello all,

Right now I live in a small mid west, and there's this poker club running here with 1/2 and 2/5 cash games running pretty much around the clock. The players are for the most part all fish. The game plays like a standard weak game, meaning everyone limps. Lets say I re-pop it from the BB to 12, I can usually expect at least 4 or 5 callers. So my question is, whats the best strategy for this game, should I just play TAG and wait to get it in good or what? I don't really want to just sit there playing tight all night when I know I have a significant edge postflop. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm less qualified than others, but my take is ...

Boring as it may be, your edge come from playing straightforward, by-the-book TAG poker, especially if your opponets are deviating from that strategy, and doing so badly.

Calling too many hands, even if you feel you have an edge post-flop, is a leak - in fact it is the same leak you are exploiting by playing TAG.

You aren't there to show-off or be creative. You are there to win all the beautiful money, and the way to do so is to be patient and let the other guys make mistakes.
