the wife and I met Travis Makar and his wife at a bar this evening, as Travis said he wanted to show us a small nugget of the information he was in possession of. If you listened to Travis call in on the 2/16/2011 DD Radio show (see transcript-interview-with-travis-makar-donkdown-radio-2011-t79592.html), I can now say that I am very confident that he has the "holy grail" of UB cheating evidence. We spoke for over 2 hours, and I am going to list a handful of the items shown and told to me by Travis:


-- Travis said that many Hand Histories that were sent out to cheated UB players were doctored. He claims this was a very laborious process.

-- Travis claims to have the complete NioNio HH's. He showed me pages upon pages of the raw UB .txt files that are (were) their hand history system. I believe him to have the full Nio Nio HH's.

-- He claims (and I believe) that he has full HH records on other cheating accounts

-- The cheating program itself was much like the old UB client. If you had the program, you needed a special login and password and it would display any table you opened with all the hands face up. The program was referred to as "god mode" and was frequently emailed to superusers after a UB software update came down, sometimes with lol names such as "divinebet.zip" Travis showed us 3 different emails where this information was sent out among UB people. He had blacked out the names of the sender and recipients of these emails.

-- Travis claims that he knew of at least four (4) different people to have used the cheating program.

-- Travis says that Charles Woodrow "Woody" Moore is not a cheater

-- Travis says that Fred David is not a cheater

-- Travis Makar showed me two (of which he said there were many) Western Union payment records to Zoltan Rozsa (revealed by UB investigator Haley Hintze as "Brainwashdodo") - one on 6/8/2009 and one on 5/17/2010 both times the sum was between $5k-$7k. Travis said that Zoltan has been paid many times, in many different forms, sometimes a person flying to Costa Rica to hand him cash directly

-- The one piece of hard evidence Travis let me keep was part of this email from Paul Leggett to Zoltan Rozsa, which to me it seems like Paul Leggett is more than willing to pay extortion money to Zoltan, the only question is how much:



He also showed us emails from that same day (6/30/2008) where Paul emailed Zoltan stating that Paul was in Canada and would be until Wednesday. In the email, Paul stated that he was not concerned about Zoltan's threats but would like to meet Zoltan in person to discuss the issues. The email addresses are not included here or in the attachment above, but Martha and I viewed them privately and wrote them down.

there you have it, will answer questions tomorrow on DD radio and I will likely remember more from the 2+ hr conversation.

Please note that I was the one who hand wrote the date on the Paul / Zoltan email posted above. I asked Travis if we could have that document to post. He agreed and tore that portion out of his email print outs to give us that part. Bryan and I both viewed the date (6/30/2008) and the email addresses of Paul and Zoltan, as well as a few other emails exchanged between the two on the same date.

Nice work micons, solid gold here, also did you speak with travis about possibly a pool of players that would be willing to purchase this evidence from him? According to UB they still stay i won 6800 or something from the superusers...

Travis said he had gotten offers of $2M to sell the data in his possession. He is worried that it is illegal and he would then not have any protection from the evil UB forces if he dumped that data.

Though the investigation into the cheating on Ultimate Bet may have taken longer than many would have expected, Leggett claims that the company is doing all it can to resolve the situation: “There has never been any cover up in our investigation. We’ve made two statements listing the accounts that were involved and we made another statement last week regarding the completion of our investigation. We handed our findings over to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.”

How can you express a word with such luster, wow would be an understatement. Glad Travis has a solid shoulder on his head, anyone in poker who gives him shit that wasn't in on it is a fucking moron.

I sure that Travis is concerned that Paul Leggett and his bodyguards will pay him a visit.
