Well its the new year and i feel so fresh and so clean clean. Ive made my resolutions and then broke them already... So fuck it, i made some new ones. Work doesnt start up for sometime yet and in the meantime im shooting for the stars on sta... hero poker.

I had a hard time getting used to the gui and the web linked admin and cashier but quickly saw some advantages. They allow for one to check tourny details which prompts the internet to load the tourny information and from there you can surf thru the tourny index. This also allows for some pretty awesome forum links. Hopefully ill have one to share soon enough.

So my new years poker resolution. It was to play micro stakes and build a 1k roll. Its still that but im currently focused on reaching the top 250 mtt ranking in the "tourny king" lo limit leaderboard. Its a pretty neat incentive program that allots points per performance and adds them together and top 250 monthly receive a point driven stack of chips with entry to the tourny. Its ideal for me since id likely not play in such a hi profile event otherwise.

I also enjoy the "100 seat to the 100k gtd" freeroll they roll out each saturday. I have qualified and played it once and it was pretty cool. i have qualified for tomorrows game aswell and hope to find fortune so i can make the 109$ ticket.

Well thats all for now. Life is good. Ill look to post some weekly results and my daily grind schedule.

Changing gears, first time i drove a standard car i was in heaven. I didnt see it as as hassle to have to use both hands. I liked the intuitive feelings one gets from being forced to be more aware of their environment. Up a hill downshift and climb. Down a hill drop it in neutral and coast. Sometimes a sudden burst helps bypass a meandering drunk who can kill you and himself. The one thing i never did like about standard cars was the lack of cruise control. Maybe some cars have it but my kia rio RX certainly didn't in all its metallic blue wonderfulness. So i never got used to just cruising. Everything from proper break time to a quick start on a hill became very routine. It got to the point where i was used to seeing so many different situations i knew how to deal with them almost instinctively.

Well there is my first real entry here. I look to catalog my poker play here and would appreciate any constructive criticism.
